A home project in Montage is a board of the real thing: photographs of rooms that already look the way you want yours to, the materials and finishes beside them, short clips of the work being done, and the order it has to happen in — all in one place you can show a builder.
The look, sourced rather than imagined
Montage finds photographs of real rooms and keeps where each came from, so a reference is something you can trace, send to a joiner, or find the product in. Generated pictures of rooms that do not exist are the opposite of useful when someone has to build it.
Sequence, not just inspiration
A renovation is an order of operations. The board holds the steps in sequence with the reference for each, so "tile before the vanity" is on the plan rather than in your head.
